In-service

  • Teachers and support staff are to report for Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 a.m. LCMS Commons Area on Friday, July 31, 2026. Breakfast will be provided.

 

ELEMENTARY & INTERMEDATE SCHOOLS

  • New students in elementary and intermediate school may register beginning Monday, July 27, 2026. All school offices will be closed for In-service on July 31, 2026. More information may be obtained by calling Elementary 796-5621 or Intermediate 796-1029.
  • Reminder to parents of Kindergarten students: Kindergarten students will not be placed in a classroom until all required documents are on file.
  • The Lewis County Elementary and Intermediate Schools will host an “Open House” for grades K-5 on August 4, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Intermediate 3rd grade students and parents are asked to report to the Intermediate School Auditorium (old Middle School auditorium) on August 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. for a brief orientation meeting.

 

 

Classroom Postings (Elementary, Intermediate, Middle School)

  • Teacher/student classroom postings will be displayed on the entrance doors after 4:00 p.m. on August 4, 2026.

 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL

 

6th grade Orientation. Middle School 6th grade students and parents are asked to report to the LCMS cafeteria at 4:45 p.m. on August 4, 2026.

 

  • 6 -8 grade Open House. The Lewis County Middle School will host an “Open House” for grades 6-8 on August 4, 2026  from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • New Student Enrollment:  Registration will be July 29th and  July 30th, 2026 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. each day in the middle school office.

 

  • IMMUNIZATION RECORDS: ALL 7TH GRADE STUDENTS ARE ASKED TO BRING IMMUNIZATION RECORDS TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL OFFICE ON August 4, 2026, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00-7:00 PM.

 

  • FURTHER INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED BY CALLING THE OFFICE AT 796-4586.

 

 

LCHS

  • New Student Enrollment will begin Monday, July 27, 2026.  For further information please call 931-796-4085.

 

  • Lewis County High School will host an Open House on Thursday, July 30th, 2026. The times are listed below:

 

  1. 9th grade- 4:00-5:00 p.m.

 

  1. 10th grade-5:00-6:00 p.m.

 

  1. 11th grade-6:00 p.m.

 

  1. 12th grade-6:30 p.m.

 

All meetings will begin in the Auditorium for Orientation then students will be released to the Cafeteria to fill out Enrollment Cards and to receive schedules and to take a tour of the building.

 

Please park in the back parking lot.

 

Dual Enrollment information will be available for Freed Hardeman and TCAT as well, so one parent/guardian needs to make plans to attend with the student.
